The Squad
Developed especially for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, The Squad brought debase’s signature brand of physical comedy across the coast!Expect the unexpected.
Using the Games as inspiration, The Squad's roving performances range from sporting themed acts: 'The not so normal Netballers' who present the most peculiar game involving a giant hoop and balls, 'Everyone's a Winner Baby' – a hilarious medal ceremony celebrating sporting heroes crossed with glam rock stars, 'The Longest Race' - a comical relay race that seems to never end.
The Squad was commissioned by Festival 2018, the arts and cultural program of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games (GC2018).
